Elizabeth Reid is a Legal Advisor for the Middle East and North Africa at the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law in Amman, Jordan. Prior to joining ICNL, Ms. Reid worked with the Reconciliation and Civil Society Portfolio of the UNOPS Iraq Operations Centre. Ms. Reid began her legal career in the international lending and debt finance practice groups of two major international law firms.
Ms. Reid is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a member of the Georgia Law Review and worked with the Ministry of Legal Affairs of Guyana on conforming national legislation across a variety of sectors to international standards. She earned a BA from Furman University and her MA in international policy studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the recipient of a Fulbright research fellowship to Jordan.
