Zoran Puljic

Zoran Puljic is a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur. A pioneer of post-war reconciliation in late 90's, Zoran Puljić emerged in last decade with his innovative approach to community development. His visionary integration of entrepreneurship, reconciliation, economic and social development led the Mozaik Foundation together with its social businesses to one of the leading hybrid organizations in Central and Eastern Europe. Today Mozaik is working towards economic and social development of Bosnia and Herzegovina by helping put in use the underused resources in the country.

Zoran served at and chaired numerous domestic and international boards. Some of them include the German Marshal Fund (Balkan Trust for Democracy), European Foundation Centre (Grantmakers East Forum), Resource Alliance and others.  Recently, the Schwab Foundation awarded Zoran with a prestigious title of Social Entrepreneur of 2010 in Central and Eastern Europe. He is the founder of the first Bosnian think-tank Populari. Zoran currently serves at two for-profit Managing Boards in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zoran was a Harvard Fellow in Strategic Management,  Duke University Fellow in Civil Society, INSEAD Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship and BoardSource fellow in non-profit governance. He holds an MBA and an MA certificate in Development.  In addition to his mother tongue, Zoran is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
