International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to the privacy of our website users. Registration / Contact Form Information

We collect information from you when you register on our site, subscribe to our newsletters, respond to a survey, or fill out a form.

Governing Laws

This Terms of Use Agreement and your use of the ICNL website shall be governed by the laws of the United States of America and the District of Columbia without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to this website shall be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction sitting in the District of Columbia. Further, any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the ICNL website must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises or such claim or cause of action is barred.


If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, then such provision shall be severable without affecting the enforceability of all remaining provisions. Submissions of Materials/Content/Documents and ICNL’s Take-Down Policy

Users of this website must agree to the following policy for submitting materials for posting on ICNL’s website; violation of this policy may result in removal of content by the host of the website.

  1. Materials must not violate or infringe any person or entity’s rights, including, but not limited to the rights of privacy and publicity as those rights are defined under state law, any state or federal law applicable to electronic communications.
