US Portal Header

Since ICNL was founded in 1992, we have worked in the United States to support civil society and philanthropy.

Among other activities, we track state and federal laws affecting protests, provide information to nonprofits about legal compliance and risk management, and help foundations engage in cross-border philanthropy.  In addition, ICNL has undertaken extensive efforts to reduce the negative impact of counter-terrorism measures on civil society and to promote banking access for the nonprofit sector.
