Programs by Focus Area: Public-Private Partnerships

No organization can exist in a vacuum. Governments, businesses, and CSOs must interact and collaborate if they are to be maximally effective. ICNL aims to provide outlets for all sectors to come together, learn from one another, and work in partnership.

Illustrative activities include (additional information about all programs may be found by clicking on the region/country title):

  • A Corporate Citizenship Program in Kazakhstan that offers business groups a way to put their skills and services to work for their communities.
  • Programs in the South Pacific and Tanzania designed to promote coalition building.
  • Forums in Central and Eastern Europe focused on promoting activities that mutually benefit CSOs and governments.
  • The development of a book on compacts and other options for NGO-Government cooperation in Ukraine.

Through these partnerships, CSOs can expand their efforts and increase their sustainability.
