USIG Author Spotlight

In order to produce 34 country notes for the USIG project, ICNL works with local experts in the field of civil society law. All authors have significantly contributed to the project's success, and without their dedicated expertise it would not be possible to produce the informative and useful country notes for the project. Below we have profiled two of these international specialists.

Primož Šporar

Primoz Sporar is an active NGO and Human Rights lawyer working for national and international civil society development. Currently he is the Executive Director of the Legal Information Center for Non-Governmental Organizations (PIC) in Slovenia. (More)

 

 

The Foundation for Human Rights Initiative (FHRI)

FHRI, founded in 1991, is Uganda's leading human rights organisation. In the last 15 years, FHRI has through human rights education, legislative advocacy and rights monitoring, contributed significantly to policy and legislative reform, nurtured an emerging human rights movement, empowered students, community leaders and social activists with skills and knowledge on human rights and democracy and promoted accountability for leaders at all levels.
