En impecable presentación, la obra recoge las ponencias y los debates de los participantes a dicho Encuentro, celebrado el pasado mes de septiembre en Santiago de Chile, el cual reseñamos para este boletín en su oportunidad.
La Memoria comienza con las diferentes intervenciones durante el acto inaugural; y con las clases magistrales de Jorge Osorio, Secretario Ejecutivo del Fondo de las Américas (“La Deriva de la Democracia: Afirmaciones y Dilemas del Tercer Sector y una propuesta de agenda común en América Latina”); y de Gian Paolo Barbetta, Profesor de Economía de la Universidad Católica de Milán (“El Tercer Sector en Italia).
Continúa con la transcripción de las ponencias de más de cuarenta participantes de Chile, Brasil, Argentina, Perú, México, Colombia, Barbados y Venezuela. Los temas tratados son muy variados e interesantes, y abarcan desde experiencias particulares del Sector en algunos países, hasta propuestas de nuevas figuras jurídicas; desde la relación de las OSC con agencias internacionales, hasta el papel del voluntariado; y desde el estudio de la legislación sobre donaciones, hasta el tema, por cierto de moda, de la autosostenibilidad.
