Dear Readers,
This is a combined Issue 2/3 of Volume 4, coming to you a bit late because of various unforeseen problems with production. We are sorry for the delay, but we hope the quality of the issue more than makes up for its lateness. It is indeed an interesting issue, with featured articles from four continents, addressing a variety of themes. In addition, it includes case and country note updates from eighteen countries and several regions.
The four articles are the following:
- Kerry O’Halloran’s report on developments with respect to a survey he conducted (with others) of issues facing the NPO community in Northern Ireland, in particular issues around the struggle for peace between the two communities;
- Jerald Oshinsky and Gheiza Davis’ report on important issues for all NPOs – the extent of their liabilities and what insurance policies will cover with respect to them;
- Emeka Iheme’s interesting discussion of the way in which the international human rights protection for freedom of association interacts with Nigerian customary law; and
- Antonio and Miguel Angel’s review of legal developments for the NPO sector in Latin America (in Spanish).
