Nancy Fashho

Advisory Council

A Jordanian attorney and counsel at law, Nancy Fashho holds an LLM in international business law from the University of London, and a governance specialist. She provides advisory services and technical assistance to governance and democracy programs with an emphasis on the rule of law, access to justice, integrity and accountability, implemented in Jordan and the Arab Region by international and multinational organizations including the UNDP and the World Bank, in addition to bilateral development agencies and think tanks. She has been engaged in revising and developing the legal framework and internal governance rules for NGOs in Jordan.

She is a civil society activist and a founding member of Justice Center of Legal Aid, a non-profit organization established in Jordan to reinforce access to justice and legal empowerment of the poor. She was involved in establishing and leading the Social Accountability Affiliated Network (ANSA) – Arab world, a regional network sponsored by the World Bank to support social accountability in the Middle East and North Africa region.
