Kristian Kopp

Kristian Kopp is Program Assistant for ICNL. Prior to joining ICNL, he spent six years working in the field of education and community development in Thailand and Cambodia. In Cambodia, he was in charge of managing an ICT education project for Cambodian Children's Trust in cooperation with the Cambodian Ministry of Education. Prior to this, he worked for World Education Inc. managing a residential peace-building program, which recruits young community leaders from Burmese refugee communities  on the Thai-Burmese border for professional development and further education.

Prior to moving to South East Asia, he worked at the Danish Parliament’s EU Affairs Office in Copenhagen, Denmark and later at the Danish Mission to the OSCE in Vienna, Austria. Kristian has a BSc in Public Administration with specialization in the European Union from Roskilde University in Denmark. He also has an MA in International Relations from The American Graduate School in Paris, France, where he graduated with distinction for his thesis work on the development policies of the European Union.
