Anselmo Lee

Anselmo LEE is Adjunct Professor at Graduate School of Public Policy and Civic Engagement at Kyunghee University since 2008. (global governance, human rights, SDGs, etc.) Internationally, he is one of the founders and senior advisers to the Asia Development Alliance (ADA), a regional forum of national development CSO platforms in Asia on UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Asia Democracy Network (ADN). He used to be a board member of CIVICUS, World Alliance for Citizens’ Participation (2013-2015)

In Korea, he has been Executive Director of the Korea Human Rights Foundation (KHRF) from 2010 to 2017. He is a member of Policy Advisory Committee for Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Policy Committee of Korea NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation (KCOC)

Previously he as civil servant worked for the National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK) as Director General in charge of policy and education (2008-2010). He also served as Executive Director of Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA), a Bangkok-based regional human right NGO (2005-2008.4) after working in Geneva for 8 years (1997-2004) as Secretary General of International Catholic Movement for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs (ICMICA)-Pax Romana, global network of Catholic professionals and intellectuals committed to social justice and human rights.
