Tunisia
Overview
ICNL works with local partner Kawakibi for Democracy Transitions to promote an enabling environment for CSOs in Tunisia, including by opposing the amendment of Decree 88 on Associations, one of the most progressive CSO laws in the MENA region. We also provide expertise to government stakeholders around compliance with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendation 8 with respect to preventing terrorism financing among CSOs.
