Paul Bonwich is the Director of ICNL’s Representative Office in Kazakhstan, and Deputy Chief of Party for the E3 Program in Central Asia. Since 2015, Mr. Bonwich manages and implements ICNL’s programs in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Before joining ICNL, he was a development manager at the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia in Almaty from 2014 –2015, and served in the Peace Corps in Macedonia from 2011 – 2013. Previously, Mr. Bonwich was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a sales representative in the United States. Mr. Bonwich received a Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in 2014. Before serving in the military, he received a B.A. in Political Science from Duke University in 2003.
