Letter to the Secretary of the Department of Interior and Director of the National Park Service demanding they open an investigation into the “violent and illegal demonstrations that took place on National Park Service land – particularly Columbus Circle and Union Station- in Washington DC” during the visit of Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu on July 24, 2024. A permit had been issued to the Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) coalition for the demonstration. The letter demands a full investigation and to refer charges to the Justice Department for civil and criminal prosecution.
