As part of the Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), the Committee sent letters to eight grantees of the fund. These include Power Forward Communities, Native CDFI Network, Appalachian Community Capital, Inclusiv, Opportunity Finance Network, Coalition for Green Capital, Climate United, and Justice Climate Fund. The letters request from each organization a full list of its employees as well as all documents and communications between the organization and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) related to the GGRF. The letters allege that the GGRF was “designed to reward President Joe Biden’s political allies.”
