Letters from Representatives Jim Jordan and Brian Mast to PEF Israel Endowment Funds, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Movement for Quality Government in Israel, Blue and White Future, Jewish Communal Fund, and Middle East Peace Dialogue Network requesting information about these organizations’ funding agreements with USAID or the State Department, these organizations’ relationships to each other, and a “detailed breakdown” of how the organizations spent funds received from USAID, the State Department, or each other. The letters allege that these organizations supported protests in Israel, which “jeopardizes” the U.S.’s relationship with Israel and “undermines core civil liberties” in both countries. The letters also formally request the organizations to “preserve all existing and future records and materials relating to the topics addressed” in the letters.
