Criteria for Selection of CSOs in Cross-Sector Bodies
Comparative Overview and Description of the Macedonian Situation

This paper, co-authored by the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law, was written for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to help develop participatory and transparent law-making process in Macedonia. The paper compares criteria and mechanisms for the selection of CSOs in government bodies (e.g., cross sector working groups, councils, national boards etc) and models for an improved framework and guidance to government officials and CSOs.
Six countries are examined in detail: Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Serbia and Slovenia.
