Making Development Co-operation More Effective

2016 Progress Report

PUBLISHED: NOVEMBER 2016

This report provides the results of the second global monitoring exercise by the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC) regarding progress on development effectiveness commitments of the Busan Partnership Agreement.

The results and analysis were meant to be used for discussion around global progress in effective development co-operation at the second High Level Meeting of the GPEDC in Nairobi, Kenya from November 28 to December 1, 2016. The report shows that little progress was made on providing civil society an enabling environment for their work, despite states’ commitments to do so.
