PUBLISHED: DECEMBER 2013

Cooperation between public authorities and civil society organizations has evolved significantly over the past few years in countries all over the world, and it continues to grow and shape based on local needs. There is a well-recognized tendency to expand the scope and forms of cooperation and to institutionalize this partnership in order to ensure its continuity and sustainability.

This ICNL paper examines various models for cooperation which could help further enhance cooperation between CSOs and public authorities.
