EVENT: Ecosystems of Change in Civic Space
Learning from INSPIRES Flexible Response Funds
JANUARY 30, 2023, 9:00 – 10:30 AM US EST
Over the last four years, the USAID-funded Enhancing and Protecting Civic Space INSPIRES project has implemented flexible response fund (FRF) activities in over 40 countries. In many places, these activities have expanded civic space. At the same time, FRF activities have revealed unexpected ways that government actions on civic space affect civil society and other stakeholders’ decision-making.
Please join us to discuss what INSPIRES consortium members, partners, and USAID have learned about these unexpected connections that make up the ecosystem of government and civil society behaviors. We will also examine how these lessons could help civic space advocates further improve the enabling environment in different local contexts across the globe.
Speakers will include representatives from USAID, local partners, and INSPIRES consortium members.
Register here to join us virtually on January 30, 2023, to discuss these issues and more. For questions, please email Rebecca Vernon at rvernon@icnl.org.
