ICNL’s Aida Dzhumanazarova Receives Human Rights Award

On December 10, ICNL Kyrgyzstan Country Director Aida Dzhumanarova received the 2024 Secretary of State’s Human Rights Defender Award. The Secretary of State’s Human Rights Defender Award recognizes eight individuals who have demonstrated leadership and courage promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms around the world. The Award celebrates courageous individuals who press every day for respect for the human rights of all people.
Aida Dzhumanazarova is the Country Director and Legal Consultant for the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL) in the Kyrgyz Republic, where she has been instrumental in preserving an enabling environment and empowering civil society for over a decade. Congratulations, Aida!
