On 27 September 2017, the Council of Europe’s 47 member states agreed upon comprehensive guidelines that include both overarching principles and practical suggestions on how to broaden opportunities for civil participation in decision-making processes.

Our affiliate, the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law, prepared a briefing on the guidelines, which covers their main points and gives suggestions on how civil society can use them.
