In 2020, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and of Association, Clément N/ Voule, published a set of practical recommendations to ensure the participation of civil society in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The practical recommendations, which follow up UNSR Voule’s 2018 thematic report on the same issue, is a valuable tool for all actors engaged in advancing effective CSO participation in development processes.
