Overview


ICNL provides technical assistance to local partners, including analysis of laws affecting freedoms of association and expression, and supports efforts aimed at reforming the Non-Governmental Organizations Act so that civil society can operate in an enabling environment. Most recently, ICNL has worked with the Zambia Council for Social Development to assess the impact of anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism laws on civic space and support engagement with state institutions to address restrictions.
