On June 30, 2019, the Written Laws (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 3) Act, 2019 took effect in Tanzania. It amends key laws governing the non-profit sector – namely, the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Act, the Societies Act and the Companies Act.
