من أجل رفع مستوى الوعي للمنظمات غير الربحية الموجودة في إقليم الجنوب حول معيار مجموعة العمل المالي ونهجها القائم على المخاطر و لتعزيز مشاركة المنظمات غير الربحية في أي مبادرة تنظيمية للامتثال لالتزامات مكافحة غسل الأموال / مكافحة تمويل الإرهاب بموجب مجموعة العمل المالي و التوصية رقم 8، حتى تحصول المنظمات غير الربحية على المزيد من الموارد المتعلقة بمكافحة غسل الأموال و تمويل الإرهاب للاستجابة
In April 2022, ICNL LLC held a workshop to familiarize civil society organizations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), especially in the southern region of Jordan, with FATF and the importance of complying with Recommendation 8. The workshop discussed FATF’s role in combating money laundering and terrorist financing, raised awareness of organizations about the FATF standard and its risk-based approach, and promoted the participation of organizations in regulatory initiatives that aim to comply with AML/CFT obligations under FATF Recommendation 8, as well as provide AML/CFT related resources to help organizations better advocate in the process.
