ICNL announces Freedom of Association Fund

The International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL) is pleased to announce a Freedom of Association Fund to support innovative, results-oriented activities designed to promote the right to association or civil society law reform.

The Freedom of Association Fund will provide subgrants to support domestic efforts to create a more enabling environment for civil society. Grants will be in the amount of $5,000-$10,000.

ICNL is an international not-for-profit organization that promotes an enabling legal environment for civil society, freedom of association, and public participation around the world.  ICNL has provided technical and research assistance to support the reform of laws affecting NGOs in over 100 countries. We draw upon a worldwide network of partners and experts to produce innovative research and analysis on legal topics affecting civil society.

The Freedom of Association Fund is supported by USAID through a sub-award with Freedom House.
