Regarding
The Organizing the Register of Societies, Social and Cultural Clubs under the Supervision of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs

The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs

The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs: after examining article (9) of the law
regulating societies and social and cultural clubs and special organizations working on
the field of youth and sports, and private in stitutions issued by decree law number
(12) of the year 1989,

Decided:

Article (1)

The registration of societies and social and cultural clubs under the supervision of the
Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs shal l be made by registering the basic law of
these societies in the special register to be prepared by the Ministry of Labour and
Social Affairs.

Article (2)

The serial number and its date shall be registered in the above-mentioned register
after approving the registration of the society or the club.

Article (3)

After publishing the registration in the official gazette, the following information shall
be registered in the regi ster referred to above:

a. The number and date of the official gaze tte when the decision to register the
society or club was issued;
b. A summary of the basic law of the societ y or club which shall included the name
and address of the premises, the aims and means of achieving these aims;
c. Approved amendments to the basic law of the society or the club – where there
are such amendments – and the date of pub lishing them in the official gazette.
d. Merging, division, formation of new branches or dissolving the society or the club
– in case such actions are taken – and the date of publishing these actions in the
official gazette.

Article (4)

All other information and documentation relating to the society or the club shall be
kept in a special file. The file pages shal l be serially numbered and the cover of the
file should list its contents.

Article (5)

This decision shall be published in the offici al gazette. It shall enter into force as of
the date of publishing it.
