Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand (Interim)

Thailand is one and indivisible Kingdom.
Thailand adopts a democratic regime of government with the King as Head of State.
Sovereign power belongs to the Thai people. The King as Head of State shall exercise such power through the National Legislative Assembly, the Council of Ministers and the Courts in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution.
Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, human dignity, rights, liberties and equality previously enjoyed by the Thai people with the protection under Thailand’s administrative conventions of the democratic regime of government with the King as Head of State and Thailand’s existing international obligations shall be protected under this Constitution.
