New ICNL Report Surveys Restrictions on Foreign Funding, Peaceful Assembly
PUBLISHED: OCTOBER 22, 2013
ICNL is pleased to announce the publication of the latest issue of Global Trends in NGO Law, an online periodical synthesizing key legal developments affecting CSOs around the world.
In this issue, we consider the significant trend, observed in all major regions of the world, towards the increased imposition by governments of restrictions on NGOs’ funding sources and on the right of peaceful assembly. We also consider another common restriction in 2012-13 – increased impediments on NGOs’ ability to communicate effectively over the Internet.
