As part of the USAID-funded Civil Society Strengthening Project (CSSP), ICNL supports a CSO-led process to improve Morocco’s legal framework for civil society, including the laws and policies that facilitate civil society’s participation in governance.
These guidelines examine legal mechanisms that facilitate cooperation between civil society organizations and Morocco’s national, regional, provincial, and communal governments. Included are recommendations for putting the guidelines into practice based on successful models of cooperation from around the world.
