ECNL LogoBased in Budapest, ECNL is a Hungarian public benefit organization. ECNL works to promote the strengthening of a supportive legal environment for civil society in Europe by developing expertise and building capacity on legal issues affecting civil society organizations (CSOs) and public participation. ECNL's program areas include Legal Frameworks for CSOs, Public Participation, Financial Sustainability of CSOs and EU Enlargement issues. Integrated into ECNL's programs are the core values of professional independence, regional perspective, cultural sensitivity, a holistic approach and cutting-edge expertise and professionalism.

The Bulgarian Center for Not-For-Profit Law (BCNL)

BCNL LogoLocated in Sofia, BCNL was founded in 2001 with a mission to provide legal support for the development of civil society in Bulgaria. BCNL's activities include providing assistance in identifying legislative priorities and drafting CSO legislation, organizing seminars and trainings on legal and practical issues related to the legal and fiscal framework of CSOs, maintaining a database of civil society laws, and providing legal assistance related to the registration and activities of CSOs. BCNL also includes research on a variety of issues related to not-for-profit law.
